They say it is to relieve congestion. Why all of a sudden do we have congestion problems in 2022 that we didn’t have since railroads were put in over 150 years ago?

Good reply. I’ll add one thing to the mix. The culture of competence is declining in our workforce for various reasons. The left promotes equity over merit and that permeates the workforce.

Only took two for me to determine it was enemy action on 9-11-01.

There has been a ton of Walmart fires in the states and other countries. That aspect of it doesn't seem to raise any questions amongst our authorities here though, which seems a little suspicious in and of itself.

At least Chile had the wits to put all the fires in one story.

Walmart had 120 supermarkets burnt and looted in Chile

Did anyone there have Covid? Masked? After all, that’s what is important.

Very true, and that’s something we’re seeing more of as fewer young people even consider skilled trades.

There’s money to be made here. A lot of it for someone with a little bit of common sense, discipline, and ambition. But as Edison said, “it’s dressed in overalls and looks like work.”

That, compounded with businesses, especially manufacturing, trying to do more with fewer people, and this is the unfortunate outcome.

Tucker pretty much covered the story in the same way... except he didn’t put a ‘here’s why’ in his comments... He said that in all cases the authorities had natural explanations for the occurrences...

Don’t believe anything until the government has officially denied it.

Catching on fire is used four times in five sentences. It’s got the internet hook words: here’s why, weird, but somehow they forgot to use just. A lousy clickbait article probably posted by the writer who can’t be called an author because of sucky writing. I don’t know what lies beyond the link. It probably can’t be much worse than a lot of websites that mix ads in with news stories.

Thanks for suffering another BS sensationalized article that reports events and offers a reason but never gives it. This is as much a trend as food plants burning.

My wife commonly comes in to breathlessly tell me something she heard on AFR or something like that and I alsway tell her to consider the source and what the outlet’s advertisers are selling.

There is absolute truth and slanted truth. Usually we get the latter.

If you “look for” food processing plant fires, you will find them.
