In the days after the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol building, the two top Republicans in Congress, Representative Kevin McCarthy and Senator Mitch McConnell, told associates they believed President Trump was responsible for inciting the deadly riot and vowed to drive him from politics.
Mr. McCarthy went so far as to say he would push Mr. Trump to resign immediately: “I’ve had it with this guy,” he told a group of Republican leaders.

Without further verification, I am skeptical of anything being thrown out to hurt Trump and his supporters. However, I view McCarthy as a weak person and shifty and when I see him on TV he seems intimidated and fearful. Whatever these Cheney types do to smear Trump is a reminder to me that this is the man I voted for twice and will do so again. They are against this Republic and willingly support the communist democrat party by trying to take out the rightful president who had an election stolen from him and his millions of supporters.
