These contentious interviews with the enemy press have a good chance of going “viral”.
The Left truly believes Trump is horrible and unattractive. When they air these contentious interviews, they believe they are exposing Trump’s “ugly side”, his “dishonesty”, his “bullying”, and other behavior they believe is unattractive.
They think they will hurt him by showing these adversarial interviews. Instead, the American people find him to be honest and refreshing - but the Left is too blinded by hate to accept that most normal people actually admire President Trump.
He has always had a knack for taking advantage of the Left’s blindness and tone-deaf view of him - that’s always been the secret behind the “mean tweets”: the people President Trump is trying to reach don’t think they are mean tweets - they know the truth when they hear it.
The Left think he says hurtful things - that’s because they are liars - and to a liar, the truth hurts.
If Trump only did friendly interviews with conservatives, they wouldn’t go viral - they would just be seen in the MAGA echo chamber.
