Most of those who ring out, ring out in week four... Hell Week.
He was in that time frame when he rang out. He was at the barracks with others who had DOR’ed for a long period of time and their ranks grew each day/week. He was content with his decision but he was worried about several of the guys there and their mental state they were devastated.
He got reassigned and pulled a tour in the med with his outfit during covid lockdowns. Got stuck in Sicily and said it was a crap hole. Confined to an airbase and the Italians served them the awfullest food, he said one meal out of three was fit to eat.
He’s being mustered out for refusing the jab on an honorable discharge but they keep extending the date of discharge. I guess covid isn’t as deadly as DOD proclaims.
