I am absolutely contemptuous of this man. He is a Bush cutout. Every bill he has proposed has been for his own benefit and not to benefit the people of Florida.
Even the bill to change daylight savings time was not with opposition from biologists and child safety advocates. He proposed an extra hour of light at night. An hour of daylight in the morning is compatible with our inner clock and allows early risers to wake up with the sun. It also keeps children off the street waiting for a school bus in thew dark.
This is a small thing but it demonstrates his knee jerk attitude toward the law. Nothing is researched. No care is taken for the impact of his proposals. They are done exclusively to make him look good.

I have grandchildren in the Florida school system. DST actually benefits them. There is more daylight for fishing in the evening after Dad takes care of the yard work. They walk to school, and it isn’tt in the dark.
