When I contracted Polio a couple years ago, I was very glad that I was vaccinated against Polio or it could have been a lot worse.

If only I knew to wear masks and force everyone around me to wear them, then maybe I wouldn’t have gotten Polio at all.

I have year-round allergies so I have no idea if I’ve had covid or not. I near always have sniffles and head colds... I picked up some test kits from the local county health, I’ve yet to use them as my symptoms haven’t matched the more widely spread descriptions of ‘fever and change in taste.’ I suspect I’ve probably had a mild case....

“The rise of Covid cases in some regions of the U.S., just as testing efforts wane, has raised the specter that the next major wave of the virus may be difficult to detect.”

Then what’s the big deal?

It’s so big you can’t see it. Stinks so badly you can’t smell it...

Not that big of a deal.

Now, if it’s underwear gnomes, we’re in deep door-doo.

Then why would we need to be worried about it?

Not remotely worried about it if such is true.

I mean gee, according to varying studies that are piling up especially in Europe, the one’s most inflicted with COVID are the sheeple that got vaccinated and boosters........

“If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?”...

Covid is the largest mass hysteria event in human history. A truly over-rated and astounding hoax that has beguiled many into joining the Covidian cult of mask and lockdowns forever.

Last month, the wife and teen daughter both tested positive for Covid. Both were three-shots “vaccinated”. Same for me.

Daughter gets mild cold/flu symptoms for one day. Wife gets unpleasant flu symptoms for three days. I make zero changes to routine. (besides being nicer to the 2 sick women) Sleep in same bed with disease-vector wife.

I never get anything. Not one symptom. Once the ladies are both symptom-free, we all test negative.

Do not care much about Covid — except as it relates to the Left using it to take away our liberties.

On President Trump’s watch, every time the Rona death toll passed a 100K mark, the media would make sure we all knew it. We passed the 1M point under Biden and not a peep.

Polio is usually spread through fecal matter so masks wouldn’t help at all. Perhaps diapers might work???

BTW, It’s estimated that 95 to 99 percent of people who contract poliovirus are asymptomatic. This is known as subclinical polio. Even without symptoms, people infected with poliovirus can still spread the virus and cause infection in others.

If Polio is so dissimilar, why did you use it as a comparison?

Maybe I should have referenced the time my smallpox vaccination made my smallpox infection so much easier to bear.

If your original point was that we need to continue freaking out and using ineffective methods of controlling COVID (which in your comparison is akin to Polio), I think you are mistaken.

The lethality of both are very comparable. Some on this website claim the low lethality of COVID means it could be ignored. But polio had a similar lethality. Should we ignore polio too?
