I make no secret of my loathing for NYC.
As a kid forced to visit there, the hordes of city dwellers in their mega story anthillls and the filth shocked me. I wondered at the enormous sewage load from that place. Incomprehensible to a kid.
Sewer gas explosions from those millions of city dwellers has to be a concern. Pranksters should drop lighted matches down the sewer grates for fun.
