And just how are you going to do that, Michael? You can forget about trying to take guns away from everyone. Laws singling out minorities aren’t going to work. Here’s an idea: swift and serious punishment for crimes involving guns, even if committed by juveniles. Swift and serious punishment for illegal gun sales (e.g., to minors, felons, or known straw purchasers). Don’t even mention a single new gun law until you either enforce the ones you have or repeal them if they’re unenforceable.
