German Retailers To Increase Food Prices By 20-50% On Monday
I’m curious if Aldi will follow this lead here in the US, they are by far the cheapest source of food in Wisconsin.

Any 'shtf' article should make mention of more than metals being in or not in food. Metals MUST be in peoples hands. Precious metals.
A 'shtf' scenario short of we-all-die, is inflation and demise of fiat currency. If/when NESARA kicks in, the transition will be best navigated with REAL money in hand. Silver, mainly, and then gold. In a variety of sizes, from 1/2 oz or less to 10 oz and more.
Lead will come in more handy than "precious" metals.
Both.
Each addresses a different ‘shtf’.
Plus, in a lead-based ‘shtf’ scenario, unless you are prepared to provide for every possible need, you’ll need pm-based money to purchase from others things you need but cannot provide.
Buy it cheap and stack it deep.
NOBODY is going to risk their own lives by standing in the way of violent Bidet voters.
My “precious metals” are brass & lead.
If you have gold and silver, but can’t defend it, you don’t own it.
Aldi’s low price advantage may be disappearing according to a preparing video on Tubes of You. If other stores are closer to customers and with gas prices factored in, if Aldi raises their prices enough they will lose customers.
Possibly, that would probably drive me to Costco or Sams, Walmart for groceries is basically a large EBT/food stamp store with really no good deals.
People will barter with whatever holds value to the trade partner. Weighing out flakes of gold and silver is a laughable notion, when simple items such as Aspirins hold real intrinsic trade value.
Ground beef and bacon are up almost double, is that what they mean by watching for food inflation? Pretty sure most everything else is up 3x the quoted inflation rate as well.
I went to HEB on Saturday and sware they just wholesale jacked up prices by something like 25% on many things.
For example. Chunk light tuna you could normally find those from 60 to 80 cents. All three were pegged at $1. And it was like that all over the store.
I’m not saying one to the exclusion of the other.
I’m merely pointing out that we do not know for sure how a ‘shtf’ scenario will come about.
If it is to the point of lead vs PMs, there are at least two sub-scenarios, both Great Reset-ish. With anarchy, yes, PMs may be useless. More likely, IMHO, would be a very short period of anarchy, but “stabilized” by martial law, where lead will face the full force of the US Military (I do not believe it will be UN military, personally). In the latter sub-scenario, PMs will likely be very handy.
More likely is a Great Awakening scenario, where it will be ‘shtf’ for some, and welcomed for others. With this view, PMs is the only way to preserve current ‘wealth’, albeit in worthless fiat currency/stocks/bonds/401s/etc’s.
I think condoms could be a good barter item too.
