My VW TDI would do 47-48 mpg with great performance…but alas that couldn’t be allowed…bring back the horse and buggy I reckon…this country is being quickly destroyed…

The diesel version of the Nissan Rogue, which I've driven several times while in England, gets nearly 60mpg, even with my heavy foot.

Can't have that here, though, because diesel.
