She would likely pick a Democratic Governor or someone from Congress.
Gavin Newsome since both are from California, with the idea being if he eventually took over, he would be a strong Presidential Candidate.
Biden is an abrasive A-hole who will never voluntarily resign. He will lie, deflect, accuse, shout, and insult everyone around him instead.
They will have to put an ultimatum out there: ‘One of three things is going to happen, Joe. You will be removed using the 25th amendment, you will be removed by impeachment after we put your son in jail forever and destroy what reputation you think you still have after confiscating all your stolen money, or you will resign and retire. Choose wisely.’

I think they all know that. The lefty media has had it leaked to them. Biden Sr. probably has reacted just the way you described, so far, but once they push him to the point where he doesn’t think it’s a bluff, and that they will destroy Jr’s life and impeach him, I think he will resign. He will say it’s for the good of the nation.... blah blah blah... but it’s just to save his (and his family’s ass). He doesn’t have much cognitive prowess left, but he has been a power player snake all his life, and he wont resign until he gets prosecutorial protection assurances.
They will try to keep him upright and conscious, at least until January 22, 2023.
That way, the VP could effectively take over Biden’s term for the next two years and still be eligible for TWO FULL TERMS OF HER OWN, meaning 10 years total!.....................
At that level I gotta believe EVERYONE has something that can be spun up to a scandal. Then, there’s always the ‘Ron Brown’, which would have the added lock on a uniparty sympathetic response.

I think a lot of it depends on the next few months up until the election, if the Democrats take a real beating something like 60-80 seats and lose of the Senate, combined with a sinking economy, then why not dump him, throw in the Hunter Biden issue and it would be a perfect set of issues to dump him and go with Kamala.
Seeing as all of this has already been planned out, ie., Biden being the nominee, Kamala Harris the VP choice, along with the stolen election to put them in place, I wonder what the game plan is as far as getting rid of Biden. Will they do it before the midterms, or after? I’m thinking before.
She was nominated specifically because she has shown she is willing to do anything to get, and keep an office. She'll do what's she told.
