That's why Russian military are so pessimistic about their perspective in Ukraine. Consider Strelkov. For 29 days Russia didn't achieve strategic success on any directions

Understandable, but hopefully you’ll know from here on to trust anyone with a camera to explain what’s what so you don’t stray from the straight & narrow again.

“Russia planned for a fifteen day operation”

I’m just glad we got a Freeper mole in the Kremlin with whom Putin & co are make privy to re: their war plans and schedules.

Its worse than that for Russia. The Russian military is not the powerful juggernaut that was once so respected and feared. NATO has been invigorated and feels powerful in view of Russia’s obvious military limitations. Does anyone really believe that Russia can successfully attack NATO? More ominously for Russia, the Chinese have noted Russia’s limitations. China has always coveted the treasure house of largely vacant Siberia and Russia’s rich but underpopulated Far eastern Pacific regions. The limitations of Russia’s conventional forces are now a strategic factor.

#14 & #16: I agree. I don't care what Rao has to say. He didn't say anything either.

What Igor Ivanovich Strelkov of the GRU/FSB said in the video with the translation is much more interesting.

#23: Try looking things up first. Russia did not invade without a plan and timetables. Russian operational orders have been captured by Ukraine and discussed online.

Russia was overly optimistic and unrealistic in their planning, and ignored the consequences of endemic corruption in the military. Now they are paying for it.

Putin's Generals probably knew but they were not allowed to tell the truth. Putin had surrounded himself with "yes men".

#24: The Chinese dilemma is their military is just as bad or worse than the Russian, and they have unique problems due to Chinese culture and politics.

With true sorrow for the many soldiers and civilians killed and injured

One month is not a long war. Honestly.

>> we got stuck in a long & bloody war

Certainly, 1 day too long, but in the Afghanistan sense, this thing is merely a skirmish.

Very true. In fact Comrade Xi has noted what has happened to Russia and Putin. If the Russian army could not overwhelm Ukraine over frozen fields will his army og “one child” combat experienced soldiers supported by locally produced ships and jet with inexperienced operators fare much better attacking across 90 miles of open ocean against a determined opponent? Suspect given the consequences of a failed invasion, Comrade Xi has taken pause. Still Russia’s strategic problems in Siberia and their Pacific regions have worsened.

Did you watch the video or read the introduction? What disinformation do you see here?

He's KGB/FSB, talking about Russia's failures in Ukraine, on Russian television news, under current censorship. This was an approved release.

Yes. As I see it, Russia will end this with a clear title to western Ukraine and ownership of the north coast of the Black Sea all the way to the Crimean peninsula. Strategically very important territory for them. Plus, Ukraine will be forced to agree to align with Russia and not to develop nukes. Probably the pipelines thru Ukraine cost Russia a lot less from here on out.

Biden and the euros will shout and hyperventilate for a while and then slowly lift sanctions as the reality on the ground and in the economy settles in. Even green Dems can’t afford to have $200 a barrel oil for very long — they long for it until it actually happens.

Anyone calling this a disaster for Putin isn’t looking at the maps.

***Yup. Some of their weaknesses have been exposed. A good military would get right to work on it. Hard to say what they’ll do from here.
