ABC and the Academy doesn’t have to lift a finger for the next couple of seasons to get all of the free Hollywood press speculation that such incidents could happen again. Expect an off screen “feud” between two actors to be sold to hoi polloi a few months before the show. Then nothing happens. Of course if they need it the show can always go with “presetting our next award, Alec Baldwin. Duck!”
That might be true; on the other hand, the incident may
have caused a few daydreamers to pretend they were Will
as they dreamed of doing to same to SloJo.
Dream big, it costs nothing and SloJo certainly
deserves the ire of the American people.
