Funny. When we had 4 small children about 1980, we had a 19’ RV.
One week in it and my wife said “NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN!” “I cook, I clean, I sweep, I make beds, IT IS NO VACATION!”
When I retired about 10 years ago, I wanted to get a large Class A motorcoach.
My wife went through the roof. Everything short of divorce was possible if I had insisted.
I got the message.
BUT, we traveled separately staying with our son & his 2 little girls last year in their RV, and guess what? We loved it! Will do again ASAP. But all the work is on my daughter-in-law and she seems to love it. She’s young.
Great story!!
How wonderful that your dear DIL enjoys doing all of the upkeep.
Again….treasured memories, as you know.
Keep a journal of your travels!!

The insurance on a Class A is Astronomical! WE met people at a RV park who traded their Class a for a light weight and were so happy they did not have to pay the $300 a month insurance anymore.
