Nice try. However, if they have blue or yellow armbands, they’re Ukrainians. If the armbands are red or white, they’re Russian. The brutal ones shooting the soldiers in handcuffs are Ukrainians.

You’d need to examine the wounds up close to see if they were shot at close range. You could have a squad assaulting a machine-gun position and grazing fire could nail a bunch of them in the legs.
