Torturing and killing soldiers who have been caught or surrendered - by Ukrainians doesn’t surprise me at all. But hard to see . Thank you for showing how brutal they can be.

Nice try. However, if they have blue or yellow armbands, they’re Ukrainians. If the armbands are red or white, they’re Russian. The brutal ones shooting the soldiers in handcuffs are Ukrainians.

I’ve seen several Ukrainian soldiers caught by Russians but so far nothing like that video of what Ukrainians are doing to Russian solders....I’ve also seen vidos of Ukraiains humiliating citizens by wrapping them to signs along the streets and pulling their pants down to expose them to the public.
How did they shoot themselves, FFS? They’re unarmed and handcuffed, wearing red or white armbands. That means they’re Russians. The ones walking around with guns with blue or yellow armbands and not handcuffed are Ukrainians, probably from the Azov Battalion. I know it’s hard for you to accept that the Ukrainian soldiers aren’t choir boys, but that’s the reality in this particular situation.
The other prisoners all appear to be wounded, in various places.
A couple of them seem to be quite young, but impossible to know.
Exactly why the three prisoners are shot is unclear.
I would say that shooting them in the head would be less cruel.
They are not likely to live, and just going into shock, slowly bleeding out in cold temperatures. Some of them look like they have tourniquets of a sort, very high up on some of them, not sure why. It looks like they are only there to keep them alive longer, perhaps for questioning, perhaps for bartering for their own prisoners (to “send back” damaged goods to their enemy and take up more of their resources...) who knows.
Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union for decades. They all play by the same book, in that region IMO.
Which is a reason we shouldn’t be there. If my country were being invaded by armed forces, I would be less inclined to show civility, but I won’t rationalize or make excuses for them...that is their business, and not ours.
It’s also against the Geneva Convention. Yet you called the Russian soldiers “pigs” in an above post. 🤦♀️

If you think only Putins responsible for this war then you’ve obviously lived in a vacum of your own making.
It was already war in Donbass and Lukansk by the Ukriaines against their own people....long before the Russian Army entered Ukraine.
There’s been a civil war (with WWI trench style warfare) in the Donbas region since 2014.
So who would benefit from this being filmed and put online? Not the Ukrainians, only the Russians. That is how you know it is a staged propaganda event.
So explain the 8 years of 24/7 shelling and bombing of the DPR and other autonomous zones by the Ukrainian army, particularly the Azov Battalion. Over 14,000 ppl died, many of them Ukrainian Russians. Is Putin supposed to stand by and let that happen? He also told the world what he’d do if NATO was on his doorstep in Ukraine. Joke Biden even warned the West not to do it in 1997. Yet the US and Ukraine did it anyway. They’re just as responsible for the carnage and destruction. Ask yourself for what reason.
I realize the press is playing Ukrain and Ukrainians as innocent etc. but I know different and long before Putin went into Ukraine.
There are two nations in the world I would never visit - ever- Ukraine was and remains one of them. The people are not what the press is paining them as.
Right. We lack context. It is clear, from the deliberate, practiced actions at the end, that this is what they are doing in this one location as a matter of policy with approval from their immediate superiors.
Why, except to make them suffer before sure death? Zip ties or even rope would immobilize them nearly as securely. It isn’t just to immobilize them to make them easier to handle.
So, I conclude they are either shooting them in the leg to make them bleed out and die slowly of blood loss, shock or cold because it provides them with satisfaction, or are keeping them alive long enough to question them before finishing them off or just leaving them open to the elements for a night before moving on.
