In my judgment this is largest crisis facing medicine. There are medical student and resident groups on Twitter of social media that genuinely believes they have the right to practice medicine and should not be required to be subject to standard examination.

There are some particularly vile creatures who announce that being a person of color with some bizarre sexual identity entities them to practice medicine. They refuse to acknowledge the notion of the learned profession and fail to understand that a physician earns the privilege to practice bases on years of training and successful demonstration of competency on multiple types of examination.

My specialty board has inundated its diplomates over the last year wirh numerous surveys querying about how to make our specialty more inclusive. Funny thing is I have never had a patient care about my race, color, orientation or anything.m but will i take care of them, keep them safe and help heal them.

This is scary and ridiculous all at once.

A friend who is tenured at a top US university has been ‘forced’ to change how he teaches the 400 student Bio101 lecture due to the minority mob who now have power over a tenured teacher. It’s either teach the biology of reproduction according to scientific fact or be subjected to an all out public attack organized by the LGBTQ+ mob. This elderly professor must choose his health (pre-existing condition) or give in or quit that which he loves to do—teach!
