Pay

Cash
You
Can.
Ive seen that….a few years ago, station near me maxed out at $50. Gas was w.ut or so at the time. …
However, I’ve predicted (as have many others) climate change lockdowns and rationing of gasoline and electricity in order to save the planet….
I’ve seen these kind of reports on Twitter. With pictures.
Following is a copy of a comment made to the linked article (by someone other than me). Much ado about nothing.

“ Anyone who has had to fill a large gas tank over 25 gallons knows this message is from the card issuing bank. The giveaway being the $125 limit as opposed to a message saying you’ve reached your 7.63 gallons for the day. Card companies note your average refueling costs and when things change drastically, they impose a limit. I’ve had this happen several times over the years with a Ford Excursion with a 44 gallon tank. Diesel prices spike and I have to use two or more cards. Nothing new to see here ;-)”
I always pay with cash. My local gas station give a 3 cent discount per gallon if you pay cash vs credit.
I’m guessing this is actually just a new feature that tells the customer what transaction amount the pump authorized from the bank.
No big deal.
Yet.
It’s not your banks business as long as the credit or debit funds are available
I’m guessing that the gas supplies up there were running short, so the station enacted a quota. Back to the 1970s!
Thanks. My own credit union debit card already has a 2000 dollar daily limit for general purposes. Fortunately, I have a Kia Soul, so I don’t think I’ll reach card limits at the gas pump itself. For now.
How is everyone enjoying the first white, retarded, pedophile president and his giggling Indian sidekick so far? This was the best the ‘RATS could do but they knew they had the election in the bag anyway no matter who they ran with the dempanic mail in “voting” system being used.
Happened to me. Although I’m thinking it was a business policy. But if you have a 30 gallon tank, it doesn’t take long to get to $125
I remember being with my dad, waiting in line. Tried to explain it to a 20-something. He just shook his head.
Odd-even days. 10-dollar limits. Etc., etc. I’m pretty sure I sat in line with Mom more than once.
I lived up north in the 70’s. I’m in the south now. I said soon well be back to odd and even days. He had no idea what that was. We’re the same age. They didn’t have them.

Welcome back Carter!
Yesterday the pump shut down at $75. I wasn’t full.
GASOHOL
During my last 2 fill ups here in N. California after the Ukraine and Uncle Joe/Go Brandon impact, the pump stopped at just under 7 gallons with 2 different vehicles.
Then, it took a long time to fill up. I couldn’t leave the control lever on the pump handle on. I had to hold it down to get a full tank both times.
One of our sons had it happen with a corporate truck during the same time era. 30 miles away from where I had the same problem.
Again, all of this happened post/under Joe/Ukraine effects.
