And how the left pummeled Dan Quayle, accusing him of lacking brain cells. How she got into and out of law school, then practiced law ... she had to be carried ... there isn’t an alternative explanation.
She went to Howard Law School (Curly Howard).
There was nothing wrong with Dan Qualye as a VP.
Any thinking person who pays attention realizes that Dan Quayle was bashed viciously and repeatedly by the Media and the Left for the simple reason he wasn’t a Leftist. Remember what their favorite cudgel against him was: That he misspelled “Potato”.
Think of that for a second. They went after him hook, line, and sinker because he misspelled “Potato”. It was in the news for months, years. There was an entire cartoon series (the putrid and execrable “Doonesbury”) that lived off of him for years.
That is it. Period.
Anyone who has followed history since 1950 should understand that the forces in politics, media, entertainment, and education that work in harmony to execute the vicious politics of personal destruction are practiced as an art form by the Left.
And we, as the Party of Stupid, let them do it with nary a feeble finger lifted. From their treatment of Whittaker Chambers, Joseph McCarthy, Nixon, Reagan, and most recently, Trump, the pattern is obvious.
Bush is not there, because in retrospect, he deserves what he got from those he wants to cozy up to and be friends with.
Qualye may not have been in the company of Reagan, Trump, or any number of conservative politicians from Nunez to DeSantis, but he sure as hell is heads and shoulders above the likes of VPs in the past such as Biden, Gore, and Harris, not to say the army of Dimwits and Corrupticrats that inhabit the Left from which VP candidates are pulled such as Maxine Waters, Diane Feinstein, Cory Booker, Hank Johnson, Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, and Elizabeth Warren.
Yeah. There are Republican lightweights and as many Freepers accurately characterize them, “Assistant Democrats”, but we have nothing at the bottom of the Republican barrel that can even compare the gooey, toxic intellectual and moral waste that is found at the bottom of the Democrat barrel. And it is accurately noted that there are Republicans guilty of political stupidity at best, and deliberate perfidy at worst.
To compare either Biden or Harris to the fictional character of Chauncey Gardiner is an insult to the character and giving too much to Biden or Harris.
The fictional character of Chauncey Gardiner wasn’t pretending to be anything he wasn’t, he wasn’t looking to line his pockets, he wasn’t looking to stomp on the rights of anyone, and he wasn’t trying to destroy United States of America. He was just being who he was.
The same cannot be said of the likes of the Democrat Party on every single count of the preceding paragraph, starting at the very top, and extending to the very bottom of the Democrat party.
I can safely say I would take a fictional Chauncey Gardiner over any Democrat politician that breathes air today or that has in the past 30 years. Or more.
A Chauncey Gardiner would do far less damage to our country. And his damage would be unintentional.
