This is how subversive the brainwashing is. One can be against US involvement in the Russia-Ukraine war without being a "Putin lover". You're joking, right? Sure, a lot of Putin's threats are for effect, but we have multitudes of morons pushing for escalation with Russia, to include US and NATO forces joining in on the fray. Where, exactly, do you think that will lead? Do you think Putin will say "Oh gosh, they called my bluff and killed all my troops in Ukraine. Guess I'll just go home then."

Escalation is escalation. The last level of escalation is nuclear, but even if no nukes are used, the step before that is WWII levels of mass death.

Sometimes hand wringing keeps them busy so they won’t get into more mischief. My job for many years was to protect the country, not place them in harm’s way.

Like I mentioned in other posts, Vietnam, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Korea...and now the Ukraine, we don’t have to be a player and those countries have to carry their own cookies. If they can’t, they shouldn’t have masqueraded as a country to begin with as they were part of the Soviet block before that. None of our business. We are not everybody’s brother for keeping.
