How does being a sitting senator lead to being Speaker of the House of representatives?
As far as I recall, there is no Rule on who can be speaker. it’s just the Slimes in power pick one of their own.

But I think you are right. Trump doesn't have to be a Senator congressman to become Speaker. A republican controlled House could elect him Speaker.

These Republican politicians we have in DC fought HARD - WITH the democrats - to get RID of Donald Trump.
