All my family had COVID. The “alpha” kind. That was more than a year ago. My MIL did die of it but the rest of us - all of us - didn’t even go into the doctor.
We’re not too worried about long-term. It’s already been pretty long. My hubby and nieces have gotten the shots (one niece was tech at Hopkins’ COVID unit).
I don’t doubt your words, but I think, in this case, one also has to look at the timing of problems. It’ll be very strange if a huge majority have even had the shot, vs just the disease.
Oh I wasn’t questioning the vax as a cause of the heart issues...but it will be hard to distinguish in each person found affected as to which did the damage...covid or the vax.
Still it should be able be discerned if fewer numbers of unvaxxed youngsters have heart ekg changes vs the vaxxed after correcting for the numbers of unvaxxed numbers of youngsters who got covid which may skew the numbers of the unvaxxed with ekg changes higher.
Take the unvaxxed who never got covid or had it and didn’t know it and make them a group. Take the unvaxxed numbers who still got covid and make them a group. Take the vaxxed youngsters who never got covid or never knew they had it and make them a group. And finally take the vaxxed youngsters who also had one of the covid strains and is verified.
Run EKG’s and Echocardiograms on each group and then we will have some good numbers to run with.
