I concur that in the last couple of years that driving has become way less patient and very aggressive. For a few reasons I hate driving now, but that is one of them.
He came up with a plan to save the US (albeit simple), and it worked!
“Ouch, My Balls!”
.
Today’s Media.
I watched that movie because people on FR recommended it. It was terrible.

You have to understand Mike Judge’s method for social satire.
Office Space is a great satire on the waste and malaise that occurs in larger corporations, among satirizing other things peculiar to the corporate world, like everything from paper jams all the way to self-serving organizational analysts.
I grant you that Office Space gets more than a little crass, repeatedly. The part that’s hard to pick up is that it is that crassness and lack of civil social etiquette that is the center of the dystopian commentary, along with the obvious drop in IQs.
Some people will say I’m stretching it, but Beavis and Butthead was a commentary on the lack of social structure and the degradation of the family in generation X. Without the depravity, the point would be lost
Agreed - it had a lot more potential, but someone decided not to put much money into a decent script.
It is supposed to be a comedy, but is actually prophecy.
Correction, “I grant you that IDIOCRACY is more than a little crass,...”
Use water, like from the toilet?...
“Can We Go
‘FAMILY STYLE’ On Her?”
No, let’s hold off guys...
LOL! “Monday Night Rehabilitation”! He just wanted to get his pardon.
I watched Idiocracy again a few months again and it’s not as funny now that the USA devolving quickly into the world depicted in the movie.
At least in the movie it took a few thousand years for society to crumble. We’re less than a generation away now from the USA completely breaking down if nothing is done to reverse course.
Trump getting elected was good, but it might only end up being a temporary pause from our societal rot.
...but despite the stupidity of the populace, it didn’t strike me as being tyrannical.

It’s definitely not tyrannical. just inept.
Actually, I’d far prefer a President Camacho to Brandon. At least Camacho loved the U.S.
The only mistake in Idiocracy is the date. There’s no way it’ll take another 400 years for us to be using Gatorade as fertilizer. And the big box stores are pretty much already there.
its all planned...all of it...the so called virus, the remdesivir, the banning of products that actually work, the demanding of masks and vaxxes and testing and now this "war" in Ukraine, the food inflation and shortages, the FUEL inflation.....
this is ALL planned.
And get to the time musheen.
I first saw it when I walked in on my son who was about half-way into the movie. It looked sort of fun, so I had him fill me in on the premise. My first thought was, this is not a comedy, it’s a documentary of the future.
Pfizer is Brandon.
Prove me wrong.
Sorry. BRAWNDO
LMAO! Perfect!
