Absolutely. I went to a new church last Sunday and the priest asked everyone to pray for Ukrainians. I almost got up and walked out. I was so upset that he also didn’t ask to pray for the Russians and their families that are being sent to a war they didn’t ask for.
I won’t be going back to that church.
By tolerating Putin they are asking for it.
It’s weird. It’s almost reflexive that Churches, organizations, and businesses are all on the same page.
If you can’t see fit to pray for Ukrainians ; you are letting some political ideology get way in front of common sense and justice .
Would you have rejected a call in 1945 to pray for Jews in Germany and Poland because you also weren’t asked to pray for non-military Germans?
