Have we ever seen the public destruction of a gun involved in any crime, much less an incident in which the shooter was found innocent? This is psychotic.
I can understand the kid wanting to be rid of it... I do find it odd that it was considered notable enough to record the event. Though here I am posting it...
It’s not uncommon for family members to request and have granted destruction of weapons used, for example, in suicides. I’m sure there are common situations where weapons used in homicides are destroyed as well.
