Oh, now we’ve got some name-calling Thrown in.
And I thought you were stupid before...
Look, if you can’t make an intelligent point just Don’t come until the cobwebs clear. They don’t give out participation trophies here.
Dude, you don’t even know what a non sequitur is.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formal_fallacy
In philosophy, a formal fallacy, deductive fallacy, logical fallacy or non sequitur[1] (/ˌnɒn ˈsɛkwɪtər/; Latin for “it does not follow”) is a pattern of reasoning rendered invalid by a flaw in its logical structure that can neatly be expressed in a standard logic system, for example propositional logic.[2]
I know you are but what am I
They’re fair game, but that doesn’t mean Russia is capable of destroying the convoys. Ukraine has limited air assets, but my guess is that protecting the convoys is pretty high on the list. They also have plenty of ground-based anti-aircraft missles.
The U.S. has air-borne early warning assets in Poland that can screw up Russian navigation systems and electronics. Russia would not be able to surprise the Ukranian convoys. Their attacking jets would all be shot down. If Russia could take out the convoys, they’d just do it. Heck, they can’t even protect their own convoys.
Sounds like WW-III.
The Cuban missile crisis was decidedly one sided with the USA having 26,000+ nuclear weapons in our stockpile at the time and 1400+ strategic bombers and 7 SLBM subs at sea available for conflict. The USSR had 160 bombers and no slbms with less than 50 icbms. For all the bluster of the USSR had they gone hot it would have been a one sided wipe out. Europa would have been decimated as most of the USSR arsenal at the time was short range missiles in European theater and medium.range aircraft with no in flight refueling.
The U.S. policy in Iraq should have been to allow the Sunnis, Shia, and Kurt’s to set up their own countries, and work out some arrangement for a non-U.S. oil company to run the oil fields with profits divided by the three countries.
Plausible deniability.
I’ve been saying almost exactly that, since that time [see my home page for particulars]. For that, I’ve been called a liberal because it happens to align more with Biden’s approach than the neocon approach to things.
Dude, yer dum. just admit it
“The smartest thing he could do at this point is declare victory by claiming he has defeated the “Ukrainian military threat”, pull back to those areas, and then negotiate. The rest of the world will know he lost in Ukraine, but that might be enough for public consumption within Russia.”
I agree, this is the best possible resolution for Putin now.
That’s all ya got is insults. No defense against the points made.
