Hadn’t really thought about the physical difficulties of Russia shipping to and from China because they are already doing it. Yeah, Russia would be very much the junior partner/client state to China, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t happen. Pairing those two up its hard to see how that wouldn’t be the outcome, which is why I think it would be the outcome.

I have to say that the very loud Russian troll farm types that seem to be trying to create the GOP’s narrative has me worried about the next election, because the average voter is going to look at that and run a mile! The GOP should be the sensible party, otherwise the only way to tell left from right is the variety of foreign propaganda being spewed by a very vocal minority.
That last is a good point. The fall elections should be a slam dunk. “Should”.
