One thing for sure - if the Russians have encircled this town, it means their army have moved all the way across Eastern Ukraine and up from Crimea.
In the USA, on the other hand, the invaders have already taken over.
For those who think that in the negotiations Ukraine should just let Putin have the Russian-speaking part, the problem is that most of the Russian-speakers do not want to be a part of Putin’s Russia.
And as the article points out, the invasion by Putin has driven even more Russian-speakers away from him.
