That would be the same as $4.02 in current dollars.

In ‘79 there was sort of a Y2K crisis when the gas stations had to add the dollar digit to their gas pumps. Most had not planned ahead to when the price of gas went over a dollar. Are we ready for $10 / gallon gas?

If the EU and US embargo Russian oil, that will not help. THAT is the sort of leadership Biden has provided.
