Something is wrong with the data.

I cannot vouch for the chart I posted, even though it comes from Bloomberg.

162 million barrels in 2016 would be almost 500,000 barrels a day.

The Bloomberg chart shows less than 50,000 barrels a day in 2016.

Normally, I would research this more deeply, but besides EIA and Bloomberg, I have no idea where else to look.

Consider that one tanker ship holds 2 million barrels. 500,000 barrels a day is less than two tankers a week. That is well within the possibilities. Also there are at least six major refining areas that could receive this crude ( three on the west coast, two on the gulf coast and one on the east coast).
