Those teenagers weren’t there because they were infected. They were there because they were close contacts of infected people. You may disagree with the idea that mere close contacts should have to quarantine but painting it as if their infection status is what was relevant is misleading. They were also legally still children and so when they ran way they were returned to their parents which is what happens in most places. We also don’t leave children alone in the desert when their parents can’t care for them.
But don’t let the facts get in the way of your confected and manipulated outrage.
