It is obvious, that Russians tried their “proven” strategy, tried in Prague, Kabul, Grozny, and other places.
Send spec forces and saboteurs to take over airports, then fly in the rest of spec forces and take over all government and strategic points (control, communication,...)
Then drive in their masses of poorly trained draftees, all of them would rather be somewhere else! Just for show, to suppress any thoughts of resistance.
The spec forces obviously failed, so now Putin is trying to get some spec forces from Belarus.
He seems to be down to the masses of poorly trained draftees. Most of then do not know, where they are, why are they there, and probably do not even know which way the bullet comes out of the rifle!
Since there are many of them, they still present formidable force in aggregate, but they are pitiful.
I would not count on them to win anything!
Hopefully the Ukes will trap the Russians into an urban warfare scenario... Putin’s pukes won’t fare well in that setting.
Propaganda is a terrible thing. Russian soldiers are stupid, ill trained idiots, who don’t know what end of the rifle the bullet comes out? Conscripts? Remember, they won WW II. No, this is crazy talk. Once the bulk of our army and navy were draftees (and I predict, will be again). Reminds me of the old 1941 adage “One American can beat 10 Japanese!” Sorry, it didn’t turn out that way. Remember the Battle of the Alamo—Santa Ana’s Mexican army was all conscripts, the Texans were volunteers fighting for Freedom —But they lost and died. Kiev is looking more and more like The Alamo.
