I doubt that was the plan, as Russia would have needed closer to 500,000 troops to pull that off on a country that large, rather than under 200,000.

Ukraine doesn’t have to “win”, just hold off long enough, because every day the war drags on, Putin’s position gets more and more precarious.
The narrative probably has a goal, but the people following it with such devotion are just being led. I imagine we will get a “Putin is gassing civilians” narrative before the week is out. Gas and WMD are goto scenarios. They might update it and claim that he is releasing COVID-19. The goal is to broaden the war.
Anytime I see Mitt Romney, Fox News, CNN, Richard Spencer, a lot of Freepers, the LGBTQ community, and Eric Swalwell all on the same side of something, I get suspicious (and a little bit nauseated). I freely admit that a break from Twitter/Gab/et al. would help.
This is a strange ‘’war’’. I’m seeing destruction of buildings, armored vehicles abandoned and destroyed , some wounded and a body here and there but little else.
I don’t know what the deal is but I don’t care that these two regimes are engaging in another blood feud.
I care that we no longer have a southern border and there could be another 9/11 on the horizon.

It is time for Sweden, Finland and the rest to take responsibility for themselves and not expect the USA to defend their borders. The reason these countries have “free” healthcare is because they don’t spend what they should spend on defense rather they rely on the US and GB to defend their stupid countries. Which one of those countries have been engaged in gut wrenching discussions regarding the security of the borders of the USA? None.
If he hasn’t won by now, then he has lost. He has lost huge amounts of equipment and his logistics are terrible. Running out of fuel, having to rob stores and cafes for food etc. This was supposed to be a walkover, even Gen. Milley said 72 hours would do it but by gosh nope. When I see Russian tanks parked on the Maidan, then Putin has won, but not before.
Finally somebody has real intel. This is also close to what I’m hearing. The Russians are fighting these mercenaries who protect the cabal operations more than they are engaging the regular Ukraine army. Putin has specific targets. He’s removing the cabal NWO from the Ukraine. Its very surgical. All this other BS you are reading and hearing is bunk.
We need to remember how utterly huge is the difference between America's military and the rest of the world COMBINED.
