When your mother and sister are filling gasoline bombs,
it behooves you to be a man and do your best on the front
line.

What is their air force like? How many bombers do they have? Cruise missiles? Did they use them all up in Syria?

But Steven Hayward hasn’t.

Put another way: maybe Putin’s goals are nothing like what our plans were in Iraq or Afghanistan, or the USSR’s in Afghanistan for that matter.

There aren’t many foreign policy analysts who analyze that region with a cool head.

They are preparing provocations against innocent civilians – women and children – to sow panic. This is their trump card.

Remember they were doing false flag attacks in LPR/DPR in the run-up to the invasion.

As each step in Putin's operation has unfolded, it has been accompanied by a barrage of lies to manipulate public opinion.

At some point skepticism among the Russian people will reach critical mass and they will realize they have been lied to.

I hear all the time on Russian social media how powerless ordinary Russians feel, but overwhelming anger may agitate them into protest.

I figure in ten days Putin likely would have destroyed what he said he would. So it won’t make a difference....besides there’s already negotiations happening. They never stopped.

They have some, but the problem is they don't work so well.

Knowing the Russians, the supplies were already stolen and traded for alcohol before the trucks were halfway to their destinations.

I wish for this to be true, but I do not believe russia can sustain combat operations for only 10 days.

Even iraq was more capable than that. They fought a war with iran for years.

(Russians didn’t have a tactical plan)

What? No Hunt for Red October yet?

Russian tanks and APCs are designed to work in the mud. They have wide tracks and very high power-weight ratios. However their logistics vehicles dont have this ability.

“They have no raw materials. What was previously supplied mainly from Slovenia, Finland and Germany is now cut off.”

Uh exactly what raw materials are they talking about? Raw materials is something Russia has in abundance, if he was talking about advance electronic chips or something maybe I would take him seriously.

My guess is Putin’s strategy was to do minimal damage to basic civilian infrastructure and primarily take out all the military equipment supplied to Ukraine by the West. And to minimize civilian casualties so Russia wouldn’t look as bad. There were no heavy bombing or missiles indiscriminately causing the vast carnage one usually expects in war because Putin knows he is already being painted as a crude villain.

I expect he will try and force Ukraine into accepting a treaty of neutrality, and eventually move his forces back into the 2 breakaway areas east which he will absorb permanently.

I don’t believe anything the msm is saying, nore any other propaganda sources. My hope is that putin is defeated and removed from the world stage. But I won’t believe it until I see it over time. There is nothing the media won’t lie about anymore.

Oligarchs are taking tremendous loses because of Putin’s miscalculation. I think they take him out. They care about money, not some fantasy of restoring the old Soviet empire.

Russian military hardware is shit. It seems their precision cruise missiles are mere dumb bombs that some oligarch screwed over the military with.

Seriously, the Pentagon is reconsidering the Russian claims of pinpoint accurate hypersonics, which are difficult to guide due to speed.
