MAD, in context, was used to describe what the West would do if the Ukraine were nuked....Obviously, the Ukraine would and could do nothing.
Why would the west care about retaliating for nukes against Ukes if we aint even supporting them conventionally? It would be like starting WW3 over Mozambique.
