The warlord who runs Chechnya held a rally of an estimated 10,000 fighters who could be dispatched to Ukraine to take part in the invasion.
The servicemen gathered in the Chechen capital, Grozny, after Friday prayers in a show of strength by Ramzan Kadyrov, an erstwhile separatist rebel who became one of President Putin’s most loyal henchmen.
Addressing the uniformed men, Kadyrov, 45, said that fighters would serve in the “hottest spots in Ukraine”, and that he could muster 70,000 volunteers.
Video showed the Muslim fighters standing in serried ranks in a central square and crying in unison: “Allahu Akbar!”
Kadyrov said they would not be dispatched yet, but were ready to “fulfil any order”.

If Putin really needs amateur volunteers, his invasion must be in serious trouble.
How will they coordinate with Russia?
The Russian effort seems rather uncoordinated so far.
Those are seasoned and eager killers.
Does he really want to unleash these animals on fellow Russian Orthodox Christians?
Last time they were in the news (other than the Tsarnayev bros), I thought they hated the russkies.

These “volunteers” might be amateurs. But they are also Muslims who would just love to legally kill Christians. If they are actually deployed I’d expect to see a series of massacres.
The Chechens are not amateurs, they’re all hardened veterans who have a notorious reputation for being capable of extreme violence.
Yes.. they were once separatists themselves. I understand they are very war-like though....

They’re all soldiers for the Chechen government which Putin supports.

The only reason they I think they are excited for this is so they can go build more mosques over in Ukraine. They are among the worst of the jihad bunch, very active in ISIS and other nasty jihad groups.
If you think Chechens are amateurs, you are the amateur with regards to analysis.
Right now they’re currently being threatened to be used against the Azov Battalion, who are equally deranged Neo-Nazi war criminals. The leader of Azov Battalion said he looks forward to playing soccer with their severed heads.
