This is one of the most successful operations of the armed forces of Ukraine in the history of the war. This is a defeat that Putin will not be able to hide
In response to the bombing and rocket attacks on Ukrainian cities, the 19th missile brigade of the armed forces of Ukraine launched a Tochka-U ballistic missile attack on the Russian Millerovo airbase, and destroyed at least two of the latest Russian Su-30 fighters.
The Ukrainian commanders, who ordered and delivered this brilliant blow in response, cut off all compromises for themselves. Little Ukraine is doing everything to protect itself. And let the whole world talk about our weakness, we will use everything that we have to fight for freedom and everything that can be used to resist.
So successfully hit the old missiles, which are more than 30 years old, is a real feat. Glory to the APU!
A thousand pound bomb/warhead going off anywhere nearby - close enough to shred your fuel tanks and start a fire - is going to have kicked up a lot of debris. There are a few odd things on the ramp there, but nothing that says "a thousand pound warhead just went off a few dozen yards away!"
Invading a country is easy. Pacifying it is another thing. The Ukrainian military will transition to guerrilla warfare once the big guns fall silent. The Russians are guaranteed to take heavy casualties in street fighting in Kiev. Sanctions will bite hard and popular support back home will decline. The it becomes a war of attrition and Russia just ain’t that rich and its logistic tail ain’t that long. Once this war goes guerrilla anyplace in Russia could be a target. If Putin thought this would be a 3 day war he was a fool.

I’m still refining the list as I obtain information and will not be publishing the list.
It’s actually very easy to identify accounts that are always pro-Putin or pro-Russia. FR has a great search tool that helps and it also helps that most of the accounts I’ve identified are ten to twenty years old so there’s a huge posting history to parse.
The sock puppet thing was brought to my attention by someone else and now I’ve started to graph out the accounts (three so far for sure) who ONLY respond to the posts of selected accounts that were on my list. They never post in response to anyone else on FR. It’s a troll tactic meant to make a post look more popular. Kind of like creating a hundred Facebook accounts and liking them in a big circle to make them all look more popular.
I started out charting the posts and accounts on Excel but have now moved it all to SQL so I can run queries against the data.
At some point I’ll share it with the moderators and Jim R.
Myself I can’t do anything other than gather the publicly available data and see what I can find in it.

I should add that it’s actually harder to apply my listing criteria to new accounts because there’s not enough data to work with. Ironically, Free Republic has a collective suspicion of new accounts and between people like yourself and the Mods the trolls get zotted pretty quick.
One of the techniques I’m applying to my research is counting the vocabulary words that each account employs. A person’s basic vocabulary varies but does not change much over time so when I see notable shifts in the basic vocabulary it can indicate that the account is then in use by a different person. Identifying these trends and then correlating them to the topics involved can be interesting.
More interesting is when an account with a vocabulary of 3,314 words changes to a vocabulary of 562 words...and then a different account shows up with a vocabulary of 3,314 words. That’s just kind of fun to find that sort of thing.
My current job is digital forensics so my unofficial project here is really just practice.
Still, I have identified 29 consistently pro-Putin and pro-Russian accounts.

FYI, one of my criteria for putting an account on my list is a user whose insults frequently question a person’s mental state.
Russian language insults often favor questioning a persons sanity, state of mind, emotional stability, and intelligence.
Unsolicited and unprovoked insults of this type attract my scrutiny.
You could apply my criteria to pretty much any kind of troll account or sock puppet account.
This biggest thing here is to stick with the data and to avoid bias. Like just because I don’t like someone or they don’t like me is no reason to put them on the list.
I’ve also added people to the list and then disqualified them when their account activity distinguished them from the other accounts on the list.
I don’t want to be like Putin and his trolls who call the Ukrainians ‘Nazis’ while neglecting to consider that the majority of Ukrainians voted for a Jewish man to be their President.
Checking your recent posting history I see that you do indeed favor insults that focus on a person’s mental state. Eighteen such insults since yesterday.
But you don’t qualify for my list based on other criteria. Hope you’re not disappointed!

just that it follows a ballistic profile.
Uh no, the Russian military operation is almost finished. They are basically wrapping it up now. They completed a surgical operation which included taking out about 6 US bio weapons labs and the cabal crime syndicate which has been holding the Ukraine hostage. You can thank Putin that Bill Gates has to look elsewhere for his next pandemic.
This was not an invasion to occupy. If it was Zelensky and his family would be long gone.
There’s lots of propaganda and disinformation from both sides today. I hope Soros NGO’s are targeted too. Can we root for both sides to lose? (with minimal casualties for civilians who are probably mostly innocent)

A person may admire President Putin to a degree because, just like President Trump, he does not lick his finger and hold it in the air to see how the wind of public opinion blows.
Many of us can see that the talk of Ukraine joining NATO or the EU is a perceived threat to Russia. We feel the same about Communist Cuba being 90 miles from us. President Putin getting his knickers in a twist is to be expected.
Resident Biden or more probably his handler is just poking the Russian Bear to cover his own incompetence at the risk of WWIII.
