yes, it seems John Mearsheimer has become much more famous in the last 6 months.
I heard/read he also had been an “advisor” to many people close to Trump. I have no way to know if that’s true.
Yes, John J. Mearsheimer was right, that it was wrong and dangerous for Ukraine to give up its Soviet era nuclear arsenal, that only its possession of that arsenal would keep it politically secure from Russia. It gave up a known deterrent for promises from a lying Russia matched with promises from a foolish United States.
