How the Ukraine crisis is already hitting Americans' wallets
CBS News ^ | Feb. 23rd, 2022 | Irina Ivanova

Although many Americans may prefer that the U.S. stay out of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the brewing violence and political fallout are already hurting their wallets. Gasoline prices, which have hit eight-year highs — could surge even further if the hostilities escalate or if U.S. lawmakers pass another round of sanctions.

The economic impact could also move beyond the gas pump, Wall Street analysts warn. Sanctions or export controls against Russia could make current semiconductor shortages even worse, while restrictions on wheat or metals could drive the fiercest bout of inflation in decades to climb even higher.

NONE of these problems existed before Brandon.

Demented Biden knew this was a possibility yet he allowed the dismantling of our energy infrastructure. He should be run out of town. Americans should not suffer from his lack of planning.

Your Lack of Planning is Not My Emergency
I have no idea who first said this, but I’ve always liked it. I first heard it from my friend and co-author Jeff Pfeffer. Unfortunately, it reflects a hallmark of a certain of bad boss. They keep their people in a constant state of suspense and paranoia because they keep springing one vile surprise after another on them — and then act like their followers are difficult or incompetent when they resist or protest such absurd last minute demands.

Maybe he should have handled it better... Since we were already suffering at the gas pump. Never underestimate Biden’s ability to F things up.

Not hare to see the media coalescing around Brandon's failure by blaming all of our problems on Putin. I for one blame Brandon for no planning, again.

Hey, c’mon man! You don’t appreciate what Biden has done here. He’s redirected your attention, so you don’t feel bad about the schools or crime... win! He’s corrected the supply chain issues. With the price of oil going up, and interest rates soon to climb, consumers won’t have as much disposable income. Viola! The supply chain crunch eases... win! And finally, with the price of gas climbing, it pushes people into EVs and that will save the planet... win!

I guess you just don’t appreciate real genius. /s

That’s Biden’s fault.
If we were energy independent, like Trump had us, we wouldn’t be as impacted.

America must have a war to distract from Biden failures.

I think that old trick no longer works.

I don’t think Americans want their young soldiers dying over Ukraine corruption and bribery of American politicians.

America must have a war to distract from Biden failures.

We have our own invasion on our S. Border, time to focus on that. Where is the GOP?

The executives at Paramount/CBS need to be fined for every penny of such propaganda as it is nothing but illegal political contributions-in-kind.

Jao Bai-din and his Democrat conspirators intentionally caused gas prices to rise and intentionally caused the rising inflation.

Sooner or later the rats and the elites are going to get Extremely desperate and they’re going to give Brandon the boot. The only reason they keep hanging on to this cheater it’s because of Kamala. If she wasn’t in the VP spot I think they would’ve replaced him by now. There is just no way our nation can survive three more years of this piece of chit! The world is in very different and dangerous place in time.

Counting their graft money. Along with aiding and abetting the Democrats achieve< their goal of destroying the United States of America. One day, when the time is right. The Democrats will unleash these illegals that they have been smuggling in by the plane and bus load and distributing throughout the Nation to do what they do best. Which is murder, rob, rape,, sell narcotic drugs, kidnap women who venture out on street to go to work, go shopping, and do other things such as socialize. And force them into prostitution or abuse them and when they are satisfied murder them. What is so cool about that is that the Democrat voters voted for it and the GOP aided and abetted it. But that won’t happen, right? The Police will protect us. Correct?/p>
