Couldn’t be done, primarily because too many communist GOP Senators and Congressmen condemned Sen. Joe McCarthy and the HUAC for threatening to stamp out widespread communist subversion. Result: the internal communist threat has now reached a level that is rightly seen as an existential threat to our country.
The first thing they do is take over the means of communicating with the public. We still have that problem today. The media is the number one threat this nation faces. It is effectively the propaganda apparatus of the deep state corrupt influence system of government.
