Yeah, you’re right. The demented, perverted pedo Joe Brandon really knocked it out of the park in those debates! Woweeee, he smoked Trump with his “Shut up!” line, too! Brandon, who can’t put 3 words together, really showed us how debates are won!

To Political Junkie Too:

Fantastic post, I agree completely.

In a way, it’s contrary to how conservatives think, because we want our government to be small...

But that does not mean we want our representatives to be weak... we want them to be active, firm, resolute, in their efforts to keep government small.

And in this case, we needed the full court press you describe in order to prevent the DNC’s coup from succeeding.

The only reason Trump picked this loser was the Access Hollywood tape.

Trump picked Pence WAY before that.

But Pence, who was already on the ticket, disappeared for 48 hours when the Access Hollywood story broke. After seeing that the tape gambit didn't work as planned and that Trump supporters were still with Trump, Pence came out with a mealy-mouthed statement that he was still onboard. I haven't trusted him since that day.

Thanks.

But that does not mean we want our representatives to be weak... we want them to be active, firm, resolute, in their efforts to keep government small.

That's it in a nutshell. We want our elected Republican representatives to fight hard, but they won't. Even if they have an ace in the hole, they will still fold to the Democrat bluff hand after hand after hand. The few who do fight (e.g., Jim Jordan (OH), Allen West (FL, TX)) are threatened with redistricting by their own side.

And worse, they will tell the Democrats what they plan to do before the cards are even dealt!

The Democrats know how to be power-grabbers; Republicans are repelled at the thought. Even President Trump abided by liberal judge-shopped court rulings and let years go by before appeals went his way, all the while listening to the LAAP-dog media calling him the dictator.

No Republican in Congress would want to stick their neck out while watching President Trump being lied about over and over in the media. It's almost like they've been Stockholm Syndromed by their Democrat captives to take positions against their own interests.

The Democrats know this, and strategize to take advantage of this fatal Republican weakness, because they know how to wield power and are unafraid to do it.

This slimeball is my main suspect for ALL the leaks that came out from Trump’s White House . . . every one.

Agree. State legislators should have been consulted. I can’t imagine they didn’t know very well the extent of rat shenanigans within their borders.

Pence could have put the burden where it belonged by formally, publicly querying the state legislatures in Nov or early Dec.

No, he didn’t. Brandon was a brainless nitwit throughout..

But, Trump lost - even with a good economy, delivering on his promises, etc., because he is a blowhard that made the debates about him instead of what he accomplished for the US.

That’s why he lost, plain and simple. Learn from it or repeat it. I prefer the former.

Trump isn’t clumsy, he says what means and that is good. He also is all there. Brandon is a nitwit, was during the debates, and hasn’t failed to live up to the expectations of dumbass…

Trumps issue is, and the reason he lost - even with everything he followed through on - was that he couldn’t put his ego aside during the debates. That’s it. All he had to do was to not come across as an a-hole and he had it locked up.

The loss os on his ego. Not his policies, accomplishments, or anything like that.

And because of his ego we got Brandon…

Learn or repeat…

Blithering nonsense.

BTW, what's up with your "In Forum" posts? It shows you haven't posted since 2001.

Okay - you know best - his ability (or lack thereof) to connect with voters worked so much last time that we now have Brandon.

Hide under a couch, ignore reality, that’s your call. I’m just giving a dose of realville that should be obvious.

As for the in forum posts - that’s been brought up before, not sure why, some have thought it might have to do with the exclamation points, but I can’t get my VCR to stop blinking 12:00 so don’t have a clue…

For some reason mine just don’t show up…

That is fascinating. I had not seen FR redirect to another posters name like that.

That is very weird then. I got the link by clicking on your screen name, getting your profile page then clicking “In Forum.” Which, as I’m sure you know, should pull up your comments in the forum.

I figured the similarity in handles meant you had changed your handle at some point as a number of FReepers have.

Must be a glitch in the FR program. There was a big overhaul of it about a year ago. That changed a few things.

It’s up to you but I’d suggest talking to Jim or the Mods about it. It does give you a level of privacy the rest of us don’t have. lol

Interesting.....you first show up to $hill the experimental $hots and troll $hot warning threads.....then, you reappear to bash Trump, of all things. REPEATEDLY.

NOT a good look, here.

And, as others have pointed out....you have NO posting history.

I smell bot....no, troll bot.

Precisely.

I don’t think his lack of posting history is something he did.
AFAIK that is impossible for a poster to do.

I’d say it’s definitely a FR first.

No posting history, and, as Tiger said.....affords privacy the rest aren’t privy to.

Odd how there could only be ONE poster with this anomaly. 🤔

It's really not that odd. I think I see the problem.

If you look at the URLs for the "In Forum" page of both accounts you see that they are different.

!1776! - https://freerepublic.com/tag/by:1776/index?tab=comments;brevity=full;options=no-change

1776thefounders - https://freerepublic.com/tag/by:1776thefounders/index?tab=comments;brevity=full;options=no-change

In !1776!'s URL the exclamation marks in !1776! do not appear. I think the software has been confused by the same number, 1776, being in both handles. Apparently it doesn't recognize exclamation marks as being part of a handle and makes no distinction for "thefounders" being part of the other one.
