This Zucker resignation could have been any time, but most likely this particular timing was deliberate. There is something in the news, or about to be, that “they” want to de-emphasize and crowd out of the news and public attention.

The problem is if Trump doesn’t make a concerted effort to fix his image as a pompous ass, he’ll be toxic in 2024 both as a candidate and as a Republican campaigner.
