Alaska truckers form convoy to support Canadian protests
Alaska truck drivers have rallied in support of their counterparts in Canada who oppose COVID-19 vaccine mandates with a convoy.
More than 100 truck drivers on Sunday drove the 10 miles from Anchorage to Eagle River to support truckers in Canada who have been protesting vaccine mandates in Ottawa.

Protesters in Canada block Ambassador Bridge (between Detroit and Windsor)
An ongoing protest in Canada over COVID-19 vaccine mandates spilled over into Detroit Monday evening via the Ambassador Bridge.
The protesters blocked traffic on the largest international suspension bridge and prevented motorists from passing, with signs calling for an end to the mandates.
Traffic delays slowed down drivers in Detroit and Windsor, and the Canada Border Services Agency said motorists should use the tunnel rather than the bridge, or head to the Blue Water Bridge from Port Huron to Sarnia, Ontario.
On the Detroit side of the border, the protest caused congestion on the freeway leading to the bridge, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
