I don’t believe so. Do you really think adult homosexual sex and pedophilia are equal offenses? In one you have consenting adults, the other children... I suspect most would make a moral distinction between the two, it doesn’t mean you support the first if you believe the other is a more venal sin.

If that was all it was, even then it would still be against God's plan.

But that is never the whole story. Having lived in the SF area in the early 80's, one of my best friends was raised by a gay uncle. Every single party had many chicken hawks whose whole reason for existence was to get young men hooked into the gay lifestyle. After awhile, my friend realized that the uncle who was raising him was inviting the chicken hawks to entice him, not because they were just part of the group.

They have to go for the young men because it turns them on (old fat men are just as much a turn off for them as for straights), and their only chance to "reproduce".

And seriously, how many straight older men head straight for the young girls when they have the chance. Look at all our politicians (Epstein didn't kill himself). When you get older there is a desire to prove yourself still the same as when you were young.

I don’t think they are equal offenses at all, but I do think most (more than half) gay men specifically are active or latent pedophiles; active in the sense they’re looking at underage porn, etc., latent meaning they’re thinking about it.
