Democrats in Virginia denounced the action as a partisan move aimed at helping former President Donald J. Trump undercut the investigation of the Capitol riot.
The top staff investigator on the House committee scrutinizing the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol has been fired by the state’s new Republican attorney general from his position as the top lawyer for the University of Virginia, from which he was on leave while working on the congressional inquiry.

I’m just guessing, but State employed attorneys are probably employed by the Virginia Dept of Justice whose head is the Attorney General...

When I was a kid, my father constructed a highly polished cement surface that served as a shuffleboard court. I have fond memories of playing several rounds with my friends, but my favorite memory is from one of our elderly neighbors. They were a sweet couple from Poland, and whenever they would push a disc hard enough to score a point, they would shake their fists and yell with a thick accent:
“Right in the Fuhrer’s face!”
It yet remains as my favorite response to a libtard take-down.
He’s not doing anything that the dems (smartly) do everytime they are in power. It’s about time the Rs clued in on how to do things their way.
