I appreciate the work that went into this.

Just completed. I did re-listen to each song for at least 30 seconds to make it as fair as possible.

Please PM me if you would like to be ON or OFF the ping list!

Mid-week summary update:

We've had up to 30 replies, so still pretty good and up to par from Round 1.

Several tight races so far.
They include a tie for Hey There, vs Hernando's Hideaway!
The other tight races are between Memories are Made of This vs Kansas City, Harbor Lights vs. Cherry Pink, and TN Waltz vs. Personality.

A bunch of races seem to be run-aways, but don't be discouraged regardless!
The biggest run-away now seems to be "Tequila" all over "Here in My Heart".

Those are both from the musical show "The Pajama Game," which is set in a pajama factory in the US. If a 2022 version were to be made, it would have to be set in Indonesia, Malaysia or Vietnam.

The Pajama Game played for several years at the St. James Theater on Broadway in NYC beginning in 1954 and opened in London the following year. It was made into a movie in 1957.

Another hit that this show generated was Steam Heat by the Mariners and other groups in 1954.

Not sure what you’re up to, pookie.

Round 2 is over, and Round 3 is another thread!

I tried to ensure all the links work this time on Round 3.

Some of these choices were absolutely a tie in my mind. It was a coin flip.

If you can’t pick, you can leave it!

I hate making choices in MOST of these.

There are only some that I absolutely couldn’t care less about, but most of the 100 I like. For some the choice isn’t too hard, but I really don’t like to send one down the drain. Really saddens me to see Doris Day go, especially the magnificent dreamy Secret Love.
