Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, the son of a preacher man, had a batting average when it came to racism but struck out when it came to his own lust for sex day in and day out till the day he died one day after this speech...
Almost all men suffer from this condition; to mention it in this casual fashion, without any context, is a disgrace.
Regards,
A lot of men are tempted, “lust”, most don’t give in to the act, though. King constantly gave in, an adulterer. Him laughing in the presence of a woman being raped, FRiend, that’s at another level of sickness.
Many reasons to be direct about this matter first of all to remind myself and other men of our obligations to a Higher Authority and to others in general particularly females.
Also there is a political aspect since sexual misconduct involving men and increasingly women and others who identify some other way is bursting out all around us.
And I would agree it always has as you note in your comment.
Sexual issues are being used politically and anyone in public life has to have their ducks in a row personally and in the face of the politics of sexual misconduct one political party gets punished the other walks free etc. etc.
Society must come up with a response just as sure as I must.
Fighting over sexuality sexual orientation, sexual identity not my priority.
But sexual boundaries need to be set.
Sexual orientation and or identity cannot be used to evade sexual responsibilty and even criminal responsibility.
