Pubs should boycott it. Lefties would be in hysterics saying that would be “disrespectful,” but what would be more disrespectful than tearing up Trump’s speech?

Another option would be treat it like the Presidential debates, say it’s become too one-sided. Say that Pelosi made the thing into a sham with her actions, and flatly refusing to participate in what is naked politicial theater by the democrats.

Just keep repeating Nanci tearing up the speech, and STAY ON MESSAGE.

The Republicans would be foolish to boycott a joint session of Congress with the President in attendance. Unexpected laws could be passed by acclamation and signed into law before the Republicans could protest. Or six new Supreme Court Justices could be appointed by the quorum present if regular rules are suspended due to the absence of the GOP.

Seriously, it’s a bad idea.
