Ok, solutions that don’t require blowing money on a new phone and losing all stored data.
You can get a cheap flip phone for under $100. That’s your best bet for daily calling.
This basic Trac Phone pretty cheap. Google loaded on them though. Not sure about the recent ones
As long as you use Android or Apple for your phone, there is nothing that can be done because their ability to spy has been built into the software.
Turn everything off until you need it: deny permissions, refuse notifications, etc.
When you need maps, it will say it needs to have access...so let it then turn it back off when you are done.
Don’t save history, don’t tell it anything.
Go thru you individual apps too and do the same thing for ones you do not need daily.
