Yikes! 🙄😳😱🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮
My walmart served excellent buffalo wings [until they muddled with the recipe] for $6.89/lb. They have jumped to $9.99/lb. [Just the wings saw that dramatic an increase...tenders only went up $1/lb and a 8 piece fried chick is still $6.89...a loss leader I imagine.] NO thanks.
My Chinese place with their superior 5 spice wings went from 10 for 8.99 to 11.99 but you still get 10. I suck it up tho because they are that tasty.
I used to love their wedge fries, last time I went, they didn’t have them anymore. I think their prices, dropped for their chicken since my encounter, but now prices are rising again I see. If I have to eat out, I just get a McDonald’s regular cheeseburger now, but even those have climbed in price, but at least it’s still affordable for now, until the left’s,push to force businesses into going to alternative “meat”,(plant based) becomes a thing. Regular, burgers will likely become more expensive as they try to fore folks to transition to alternative foods... ugh!
I was watching the ice gold show,,and a fella, bought z large, pizza for the 3 man crew, drove it all,the way out onto the ice to,the camp, said it cost, him almost $40 for,the pizza, being so remote in Alaska prices are insane up,there, and next thing you know, the husky that was sitting next to them snuck the box of pizza while, the folks, weren’t looking, and gobbled it down. Lol
I haven’t bought pizza in years- we don’t have a good one around us. Store bought ones aren’t the greatest in my opinion. I used to,love the steak and pepper hoagies with melted cheese, but I’d probably be shocked to buy one today.
There are some pretty cool but kind of expensive high heat broiler standalone ovens- I wonder if they could cook,pizzas- imdo,I do, them, and I could make my own hoagies and steaks would, steaks would, resteraunt style cooked with the high heat sear on them.
My measure of inflation is the price of locally brewed craft beer at local sports bars.
After years at $6/pint, one bar went up to $6.50 and another to $7/pint.
The horror!
At twice the price what a deal.
Yeah the McDonald’s in my area have different prices - franchise vs. Corporate I suppose
There are 2 I go to for price alone
I didn’t realize they priced differently- I’ll have to check out a different KFC and see if they are lower-
It’s easily 15-20 percent on like a Big Mac meal or QP w/cheese
I only hit the higher price ones if I’m in a hurry or too far away
